Long Lost Blogger!
My hubby got me some beautiful flowers for my birthday. Overall, it was a wonderful day.
We experience another first with Sullivan. I was bathing him and asked him to blow his nose. I had seen a colorful booger hanging out in his nose and was fearing that another cold was coming on. When he blew the booger out, I realized that it was a foreign object. Upon further dissection, it was a sticker label that he had torn off of his block box and decided to wad up and shove up his nose for safe keeping...oh my! Let the fun times begin. Here is Exhibit A...
We attended a birthday party for a friend of Sulli's from church at a place called Pump It Up. This place has a bunch of different blow up bounce houses and slides. I liked this action shot of Sulli. He took a while to warm up but then had a great time. He just cracks me up. He came into the room with some puzzle pieces tucked under his chin and said, "I play the violin Mommy." He had seen one of his friends practicing his violin and was imitating the way that you hold a violin under your chin. Funny kid!
The kids and I loaded up in the car and took off for Twin Falls a couple of weeks ago. My grandfather has not been doing so well and we thought that we might be saying our last goodbyes. He has since continued to decline but has not given up yet. Regardless of his fatigue, confusion, and weakness, he has always known my boys and has been very cute with them. When we were there this last time, he held my hand and said, "Take care of my boys. You know they are my boys, you have to take care of them." So sweet. I just love my Grandpa Alvin.
While we were in Twin, my dad's sister Judy and his brother Steve and his wife Pat all came in to see Grandpa as well. It was fun that they were all able to see Sulli and meet Ben for the first time. This is Aunt Judy with Ben.
The Auntie's went shopping for goodies and Sulli got this bouncey ball that he got the hang of very quickly. He bounces all around the house on this thing. Quite fun!
