A Piratey Party!

My little mate Sulli turned 3 on Saturday. Oh my goodness...THREE! We had a swashbucklin' time at his little party. About 20 of his friends and their parents came and we enjoyed watching the kiddos play on an inflatable water slide, eat pirate cake and "break" a pinata (they needed a bit of help with the breaking-after each kid had a turn, I tore it in half).

No, I did not make the cake...my friend Bekki (who is amazing) has made all of Sulli's cakes.
Then that evening we took the kids to the Twilight Criterium bike race downtown. We went with the V's. The kids loved watching the bikes go by really fast. It was a fun filled day and at the end of it...we all crashed!

I am still in awe that my baby boy is three. He is such a little boy now. Loves sports, making sound effects, wrestling, and playing portend (pretend). But he is still hanging on to a few things that will continue to make him my baby (playing with his hair when he drinks and cuddling).
