leaving on a jet plane...
evan and i are leaving this weekend for san diego...without kids! one of those trips that sounded so great in the planning stage. but as the day approaches that i am going to have to say "see you soon", i am anxious! i am not worried about their well-being as they will be in very good hands. we just have never left benny over night. and i am the worrier in our family...so here is my item of the week to worry about. but as i said in the previous post, i am learning lots from my Bible reading. and just the other day i was reading about not worrying. and i remember a man in twin falls where i grew up who had a sign on his truck that said "worry and insult God". ok fine...i know that everything will be fine, but, but, but....this no worrying thing is tough! any suggestions to help make the transition for me and the kids go well?

ok, stop worrying! Your kids will have a different routine and will be with different people. They may not bath daily,(The first time I left Denae and the other girls with my in-laws we were gone for a week and she didn't bath them the whole time) they may not eat the same things every day but they will have a BLAST!!! They will get spoiled! I promise.
So go and enjoy the time with your love and believe me you will be a better mother and wife for the time you spend away!
Every Day blessings is right. Just enjoy the opportunity to reconnect with Evan and know that your kiddos will be fine. Especially with your faith in Heavenly Father's ability to take care of the little things. Just say a prayer with the kids and call at night, you'll be great!
Oh, you're going to have so much fun in San Diego. That might be one of my most favorite places on earth. Have such a great time. I know the feeling though; about leaving your babies behind. It really tugs on your heart- but just remember how happy you'll be when you get home to see them.
my suggestion is have fun.
